As Ferriss predicted, I got all the news I needed from friends, coworkers, etc. But, I had one coworker comment, "You haven't been watching the news lately, have you? It shows." Unfortunately, depending on you career, who you associate with, etc., not keeping up on the news can be a liability. I did the media fast after reading "The Four-Hour Work Week," too. As Ferriss predicted, I got all the news I needed from friends, coworkers, etc.

But, I had one coworker comment, "You haven't been watching the news lately, have you? It shows."

Unfortunately, depending on you career, who you associate with, etc., not keeping up on the news can be a liability.
